The Beer Factory eXpress Sunway Geo (TBFX) is the first bar in Malaysia to offer a cashless and seamless bar experience, powered by Webonline Dot Com.
The TBFX app allows users to self-order and have access to TBFX’s e-menu.
This instantly automates the entire ordering process and the app also records all orders so you can track your spending.
While there is table service at the bar, customers are incentivised to use the TBFX app because they can get savings of up to 10% from their orders and each new user to the app gets a free beer too. Users can choose to store their credit/debit card on file and use that to pay but there is another way that is more fluid and rewarding.
What we like about going cashless—especially for a bar—is that we now have one less item to carry around or worry about.
Adeline Ng, General Manager of TBFX notes, “Technology is the future. In the past, when booking airplane tickets, you’ll book it through agents. It was such a hassle having to go through them and that system slowly transitioned to an online one. Now, everybody books their tickets online.”

Currently, the Sunway Geo outlet is the first to offer this concept but the team are hoping to expand 50-fold by 2020.
