We’ve all heard about the unique and different ways that lobster’s being used in our favourite meals. You have the likes of nasi lemak lobster, maggi lobster, and even briyani lobster.
But if you’d like to try lobsters the good old Western way, lobster rolls are the way to go.
Lobster roll is a dish made popular in the States that has made it way over here on our shores. It’s a sandwich, with juicy chunks of lobster meat served on a toasted sausage-style bun with the opening on the top rather than the side.
And now Nice Catch has brought their own version of it called the Canadian Lobster Roll with Truffle Oil.
The sweet succulent lobster meat is lightly tossed in a rich melted butter and mayo dressing with a hint of truffle oil to give it a unique blend of savoury flavours. It’s piled up in a warm buttery split-top brioche bun that is toasted to perfection and accompanied with the in-house truffle infused potato crisps, and a fresh mixed salad.
To go with that, they have a unique two-layered sauce, the dragon fruit tartar & wasabi mayo sauce that you can either dip your crisps into or pour it over your lobster roll. It provides a sweet delectable zest with the dragon fruit tartar then gives you a subtle but powerful kick with the wasabi mayo.
The lobster roll comes in two sizes. A half lobster roll, that is priced at RM49nett, and a full lobster roll (which doubles the amount of lobster filling) that is priced at a whopping RM69nett only! It makes for a really affordable option (rather than climbing mountains or crossing seas to have it). That’s a pretty nice catch if you ask me 😉
The new product was successfully launched on 21st of April 2018 and was received swellingly. So you can head over and give it a try for yourself today.
