First, there was Ink Library Café, a glasshouse container concept café located in Puncak Alam.

Now, there’s a café with a similar concept in Damansara Perdana. The Glasshouse Petaling Jaya is a stunning minimalistic café located in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Damansara Perdana. The double-storey eatery specialises in coffee but offers Western meals as well as a wide array of cakes.

As for their coffee, the café uses filter coffee beans that they have brought in specially from a famous Melbourne roaster.

As for cakes, flavours include the Sea Salt Chocolate Cake which is gluten-free and flourless, the Matcha Cake which is a Japanese cheese cake with red bean filling, and the Honolulu Cake which is a Japanese cheese cake with pineapple and coconut.

Thus far, KL-ites have been enjoying The Glass House’s offerings and have returned for its chilled ambiance that makes for the perfect Instagram-worthy spot.

Tip: Drop by during the golden hours of 5pm-7pm to catch the last hours of sunlight and perhaps, you could even watch the sun slowly setting as you sip on some good Melbourne-quality coffee.
