1. Crackhouse Open Mic

Opt to be the audience or performer at Crackhouse Comedy Club KL. If you’ve got a couple of jokes in you, take the stage and tell your best jokes to a crowd. Alternatively, just sit back and enjoy the show. This weekly open-mic night session will have the audience members decide who was the best comedian of the night, to which the comedian would walk home with a prize. Entry is at RM15 and doors open by 8.45pm.

2. Trance Nation feat. Paul Van Dyk

If you are into classic songs from the golden days, you’d appreciate how Grammy-nominated DJ, Paul Van Dyk puts a spin to it by remixing the tracks and making them sound modern. Expect techno-coloured laser lights and a night of dancing to some cool tracks.

3. Pet Fiesta 2017

Are you an animal lover who’s looking to bring a furry one home with you? The Pet Fiesta Expo is back and this time around, expect plenty of activities for you and your pet at the largest indoor and outdoor pet exhibition in Malaysia. There will be plenty of shows such as the Dog Grooming Demo, Reptile Kingdom Exhibition, International Cat Show by KKM and more.

4. Envy Nightlife: Reborn

Forget your usual Friday night hangout spot and consider up and coming party place, ENVY NIGHTLIFE instead! This new club in Bukit Bintang is known for its “atas” atmosphere and when you’re here, you can definitely expect a world-class clubbing experience. Not only that, be sure to hit the club on April 14th to catch Jewelz & Sparks, a pair of DJs hailing all the way from Germany.

5. Dancebox

Dancebox is an informal dance programme by a lineup of choreographers from ASWARA’s dance faculty, the dance department of Universiti of Malaya and more. The show includes works of unfinished art that will be presented to the audience members, in hopes of garnering feedback. In every sense of the word, the show will be a raw piece of art and even non-dance enthusiasts would certainly be able to appreciate the show.

6. Pun Competition Episode 2

If you figure that you’re a pretty “pun-ny” person and your friends can no longer handle your puns anymore, tell it to a different audience instead! At Have Pun Malaysia, contestants will tell their best puns with hopes of walking away with a grand prize of RM500. Entrance is at RM30 and doors open by 7.3opm at The Bee, on April 16th.

7. Brendan De Cruz – Tribute To Coldplay

Just a week ago, there’s been plenty of hype on social media from those who attended Coldplay’s concert in Singapore. For those who were unable to attend the concert, fret not. Enjoy Brendan De Cruz’s take on Coldplay’s well-loved tracks instead. He will be playing alongside drummer Ravi Shankar, keyboardist Simmy, lead guitarist Hilmy Amim and bassist Joshua Devaratnam. Expect lots of Coldplay classics as the band pays tribute to one of the best musicians of our time.

8. GLOW FEST

Forget 1 DJ. How about a lineup of 10 DJs instead? Esperance KL will be throwing the biggest “Glow Party” in KL. The 8-hour show will feature DJs like OD, SMASH, G-Squad and plenty more, who will be playing throughout the night and all the way till the early hours of the morning!

9. Levi’s Presents Classics Remastered

Levi’s is known for their denim clothing and this time around, they will be showcasing their Orange Tab collection alongside the live music of Nusantara rock act, PITAHATI, Couple, Ramayan, and Golden Mammoth. 10. Paper Succulent Workshop

If you enjoy mini pots and plants but don’t have green fingers, consider heading to a paper succulent and cactus workshop by Paper Project By RJ instead. This talented young man will teach you how to create your own mini paper garden that will withstand the test of time. The 3-hour workshop is priced at RM150 and it would include the paper succulent and cactus materials (crepe paper, prisma card, floral wire, pebble stone, wooden pot, scissors, craft glue) and some refreshments.
