1. Dirgahayu Farewell Show @ ATAS

Dirgahayu is one of our local rock bands which has graced not just Malaysian stages but international ones as well. This time, they are bidding farewell to their drummer, Seikan Sawaki with one last show together. It is definitely going to be one of the most epic performances by the band, and if you are a fan, get ready to shed some tears for Seikan’s departure.

2. Makesound Productions x RAWR Sessions Vol.3

2 local musicians, Battle Bloom and The Last One Awake, are going to collaborate for an acoustic performance during RAWR Sessions, a gig performance organised by Playspace. RAWR sessions is a place where musicians can be raw and host unplugged sessions, so for those who enjoy acoustic music, this would be an absolute treat!

3. People Who Live In Glass Houses Should Not Throw Stones

Devised by a group of theatre students, the performers are ready to give it their all, alongside an interesting plot as well. The show would consist of 28 romantic, funny and dramatic stories. There would also be one song centred on hypocrisy and the flaw in humans. The session is also absolutely free!

4. RBMA x COMO x Detour Asia x Ikonika

Redbull Academy is a workshop and festival for party-goers or curious cats to learn DJ skills and party at the same time. Ikonika is known for travelling across to globe perform her tracks and create fresh tracks that will get you grooving. Interestingly enough, Ikonika’s tracks was also used in Azealia Bank’s mixtape track known as ‘Neptune’.

5. Pisco X Sound Love Affair x Archie Hamilton

House of Techno is Archie Hamilton’s expertise and he will be at Pisco Bar for one night only to perform. The London-based producer is an expert in underground music and his music will certainly create a hypnotic trip for his audience to enjoy deep bass tracks and groovy music as well.

6. PLaine X Pearly Wong SS17

Pearly Wong who just featured her collection during the KL Fashion Week 2016 and New Zealand Fashion Week 2016 is back with her upcoming Spring/ Summer ‘17 collection. She will be collaborating with upcoming designer, Laine Wong in this show. In order to attend the event, be sure to RSVP for it.

7. Moonshine’s 11th Anniversary

Moonshine is turning 11 this year and if you didn’t already know, this event is all about celebrating the independent music scene. If you’re into the indie music scene, this is the place to be. Some of the musicians who would be performing are Bihzhu and Reza Salleh.

8. Keep It Local Live: Independent Youth Music Festival

9. Selangor Maker & Innovation Carnival 2016

People would think that this carnival is best suited for entrepreneurs or innovators, but in fact everyone can join in, especially families as they have a lot of fun activities such as DIY art projects, handmade miniatures, textile crafts and so much more!

If you are a water sports fan and would like to watch a water sports race competition, be sure to catch a bunch of adrenaline junkies racing towards the finish line at Puchong! The previous competition was held at Metropolitan Lake and this time around, the competitors will have more racing space in a bigger lake, so there’s bound to be more action!
