If you’ve ever scrolled through naturally.jo’s IG feed, we bet that you were on it for a looooong time.

The 16-year-old content creator has a way of attracting attention with what else but food?

One of the primary themes you would likely notice on Naturally Jo’s IG feed is the mermaid series which features mermaid-themed desserts such as toasts, donuts and smoothie bowls in dreamy hues of purple and turquoise.

It seems that a café in Malaysia has adapted similar vibes into its cosy little eatery in Damansara Utama.

Shugatori Dessert is no stranger to innovative and IG-friendly desserts.

The newest dessert to come out of Shugatori’s menu is none other than the mermaid toast and waffles.

With little meringues in pastel shades adorning the toast like seashells and a mermaid tail added for emphasis, the ‘under the ocean’-themed dessert is to die for!

As for their waffles, you will find the same colourful meringues, multi-coloured twist ‘mallows, a huge scoop of ice cream and a seashell with a “river of stars”.

Considering how Shugatori always updates its offerings, be sure to grab one of these sweet treats while they’re still on the menu, as there’s no guarantee that it’ll be a permanent dish at the café.
