Ziferblat-inspired spaces are on the rise and another eatery joins the market with their time-based concept café.

Homez is a pay-per-minute concept café which doubles as a co-working space and a social hub. It is a Ziferblat-inspired concept business where guests pay for the time spent at the space, rather than the food.

As the team at Homez puts it, “There is a rule of life that we call “A Time for Everything”. A time to relax and a time to be busy, a time to frolic and a time to labour, a time to receive and a time to give, a time to begin and a time to finish.”

In the same vein, Homez values time at their space and charge based on that. Their current charges breakdown is at:

  • RM0.10 = 1 minute
  • RM6 = 60 minutes
  • RM10 = 100 minutes

The remaining hours spent at the space is free of charge, meaning that you can spend an entire day here and only fork out a reasonable sum of RM10.

When at Homez, you’re free to bring in your own food but bear in mind to clean up once you’re done. Guests are also encouraged to clean up after their own used dishes. As for re-entering, it is subject to the amount of customers in the space at that period of time.

You can spend time working, studying or socialising with others who share the space and enjoy facilities like:

  • Wi-Fi
  • Plug points
  • Books
  • Board games
  • Guitar
  • Coffee & Tea
  • Breads, Snacks and Cakes

Homez’s ultimate vision is to create a cosy and quiet environment for everyone and that is why they have integrated a small home garden in the space.

Besides being a space where you can work, study and complete your assignments at, Homez is also open for space hiring for private events such as wedding anniversaries and birthday parties.
