Uni students are known to be one of the most broke folks out there. With all the money spent on textbooks and nights out, you’re likely to be living with a tight budget.

If you’re looking to ball a little anytime soon, there’s an upcoming fitness challenge that might just earn you an RM5k cash prize.

The AXN University Challenge is an obstacle course open to all Malaysian university students aged 18 and above. Participating universities are Segi University, Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus, Multimedia University Cyberjaya, Limkokwing University and Asia Pacific University (APU). Registration is also absolutely FREE!

The qualifying challenge consists of 3 categories which are Thrilling, Mystery and Adventurous. The Thrilling part of the challenge includes stacking 10 cans of Mountain Dew from an ice box into the shape of a pyramid. The Mystery round would involve assembling and solving a 12-piece jigsaw puzzle which will reveal one of the 6 components of the final challenge’s obstacle.

Lastly, the Adventurous section will see participants using a mini bicycle (without pedals) to get across an elevated plank, whilst keeping their feet off the ground. Marks will be deducted if the participant falls off, or his/her feet touches the ground while travelling across the obstacle course.

Each participant will be judged on their finishing time and the 20 participants with the fastest time can proceed to the semi-finals challenge at Sunway Pyramid.
