Have you ever wondered what it’s like to experience being a part of the anime world? Well, I guess your chance to live it out is finally here.

Aka Café in Taman Danau Desa will be organising a pop-up café with Japanese maids and butlers. They will be serving their goshuujin-sama and ojou-sama (masters and mistresses) during the 2-day event and it’s an experience like no other.

La Petite Fox is a fox-themed maid and butler popup café event.

Originating from Japan, this cosplay cafe and subculture has been adapted by many countries, and Malaysia is where it is finally gaining its popularity.

This time around, La Petite Fox has teamed up with Aka Café to organise this unique event. The maids and butlers will be cosplaying and they’ll be all dressed and dolled up in their anime-esque costumes.

Meals-wise, the foxes (which is what the maids and butlers are called) will be serving up 3 different Kitsune (Japanese for fox) set meals in three variations. It’s inclusive of a drink and a free game.

However, if you’re up for regular AKA Café specialties, check out our recent review here to help you decide on what dish to have!

Besides operating like a regular café, there will also be ongoing games throughout the 2 days.

The foxes and visiting patrons are able to bond through a Do The Dare game. Although there is a strict “no contact” policy between both parties, patrons who draw a “touch fox’s ears” card from the game will get to do just that.

Game sessions are priced at RM5-RM15 and if you win one of them, you will be able to claim your “prize” of a service from the foxes. Services include being Spoonfed 3x, Moe Kotoba (where your favourite fox will whisper something into your ears) or Kabedon (where you’ll be cornered at a wall by your favourite fox).

Do note that these services are only available, subject to the maid and butler’s willingness to participate, as some of them can be quite shy. 😉
