Noodles served as per regular, in a typical serving size bowl for one. Been there, done that.

Taking it up a notch, a Penang-born café decided to take the saying “go big or go home” quite literally.

My Voice Café opened its doors in the Penang island back in 2013 and has recently expanded and opened its very first KL branch in Desa Sri Hartamas.

At My Voice Café, ramen bowls are big enough to share amongst 2 or even 3 persons. Priced at RM48.90 per bowl, the types of bowls you could opt for include Spicy Ramen, Kakuni Ramen, Maionese Ramen and Beef Chilli Ramen. My Voice Café is currently the only outlet in KL to offer the Maionese Ramen bowl.

Besides big bowls of ramen noodles, My Voice Café also has other Japanese items on the menu.

There’s the Fried Ebi, Tempura Shrimp and Tempura fritter for RM19.90 and edamame beans for RM7.90.

For a little protein, choose the Salmon Teriyaki Irish Salmon (RM23.90), Chicken Teriyaki Grilled Chicken (RM18.90), Surume Ika Teri (RM26.90) or the Takoyaki Fish (RM10.90).

There are also light bites such as the Age Gyoza (RM11.90) or 6 pieces of deep-fried gyozas for RM10.90.

Following the success of its first café, the KL outlet is looking to emulate the popularity of its predecessor. Drop by if you’re looking for something a little out of the ordinary and definitely worth ‘gramming.

Now the question is, are you ready to tackle one big bowl on your own? 😉
