The next time you’ve only got a few ringgits to spare but you’re still looking to treat yourself to a classic Malaysian dessert, look no further than Daughter’s Kitchen.

Located in Sungai Buloh, this restaurant recently rose to fame when netizens discovered their Milo ais kepal dessert.

Essentially, it’s a shaved ice ball which is packed into a bowl to form its globe-like shape.

Next, it is drowned in a thick Milo and condense milk sauce. The resulting treat is indulgent, creamy and one for the books.

Wait for the ice to melt gradually to turn it into a cold Milo drink.

Though Daughter’s Kitchen serves up main meals as well, it’s without a doubt that their most popular item on the menu is none other than the affordable Milo ais kepal.

For only RM2.90, you’ll get a reasonable serving of the thick Milo mixture.

Check out our video of the truly Malaysian dessert below and let us know what you think about it in the Facebook comment section!
