1. Markets 23 by Jaya One

If you’re looking to support some local businesses, Markets is the best place to start. This edition (the 23rd one!) features Malaysian products only and you can find anything from yummy homemade desserts to apparels and accessories.

2. A Tribute to Chris Cornell with Brendan de Cruz

Local singer-songwriter, Brendan de Cruz will be paying tribute to the late legend Chris Cornell who is best known for tracks like Scream and Like A Stone. Cover charge is priced at RM42.

3. Lindy Day Out at The Row

It’s now officially the middle of the year and if you’re serious in picking up a new skill before 2017 is up, you can consider joining this lindy hop workshop. The workshop fee is set at RM60.

4. Crackhouse Open Mic Night

If you’re one to enjoy telling jokes and listening to them through a comedy show, Crackhouse’s Open Mic Night is the place to be for you. This weekly open mic night session lets you experience both sides of a comedy show (by being a presenter or audience member). Best part is, the best participant of the evening walks away with RM100. Entry fee is priced at RM15.

5. Italian Wine & Cheese Night

For a cover charge of RM150, you’ll get to enjoy a wide variety of international cheese, free canapes and fine cuisine delights as well as a free flow of carefully selected quality wine. Some of the wine you’ll be able to sample includes the Pinot Grigio Chardonnay Essere Cesari 2015 Veneto, Orvieto Classico Cecchi 2015 Umbria and Negroamaro I Muri 2015 Puglia.
