The following dance studios in KL offer various dance classes for all levels of experience, and that includes us beginners! On top of that, they are all priced below RM100! Read on to find out where you should be signing up to let out your inner dancing queen:

This dance studio specializes in swing dances from the 20s and 30s, especially the Lindy Hop, so it’ll be like travelling back in time! Added with the fact that the dancers usually dress up in flared skirts and suspenders, as though they just stepped out of that time era, the whole experience is a whole lot of fun, even for utmost beginners!

Their weekly classes are held at New Star Studio in Taman Desa, and they organize various classes for novices all the way up to experts. For example, their Charleston Crash Course is open to people with no experience at all when it comes to dancing, and it offers a peek into the basics of the Charleston dance. It’s priced at RM100 for a three-hour class, and you can also get a 20% discount if you sign up with a partner!

Alternatively, they also have social dances every Friday night for RM15 only, so it’s the perfect time to meet new people and make friends with fellow swing dance fans. Even if you have two left feet, it’ll be fun to experience dances from the roaring 20s!
