Malaysia has no shortage of rustic coffeehouses and Ome By Spacebar Coffee is one of ’em.
Sure, it’s located in Georgetown but it’s well worth a daytrip down to Penang.

The coffeehouse has character of its own with greenery surrounding the exterior and brick walls all around in its interior.
You’ll feel like you’ve just escaped into a little nature-inspired cave. :O

At Ome By Spacebar Coffee, you would find a range of in-house cakes, coffees, chocolate, teas and juices. The café features guest roasters such as Artisan Roastery and The Roast Things but there are other interesting brands available from time to time as well.
As for cakes, you would find the likes of butter pound loafs, blueberry breads, butter puddings, banana sesame breads, chocolate plum cakes, vegan-friendly apple crisps and chocolate fudges.
On top of that, they also have a retail shelf of coffee-related goodies such as hand-blown reusable glass Sol cups, ceramic cups, coffee beans, scales, KONO coffee brewers and filter paper.
Coffee enthusiasts will definitely find Ome By Spacebar Coffee to be a cool hangout spot!
After indulging in hearty cakes and flavourful coffees, opt to pay their art space a visit too. Located on the first floor, it currently features some shots by the team but they’ve held workshops and art exhibitions here in the past too.
