A Sydney eatery named Ho Jiak recently faced a conundrum when a thief stole an iPad from their store. This thief stole the iPad from the cashier counter while pretending to have conversation on his phone.

He then masterfully slid the iPad between his legs before casually walking off. The bald Asian man was captured through the store’s CCTV and he was wearing a pair of sunglasses and a jacket.

The Sydney-based stall is famous for their offerings of prawn noodle soup, nasi goreng telur, mee hoon goreng and nasi lemak. They decided to offer a reward for those who are able to find and capture the thief.

Those who are able to capture the thief will be offered free meals everyday for a year at Ho Jiak. On top of that, by sharing the specific CCTV footage on your social media channels, it would garner you $50 vouchers as well!

The restaurant is known for giving free meals and their generosity was seen at their recent 2-year anniversary where they gave out free meals for 2 hours and all of the money raised was forwarded to Pink Ribbon and the Cancer Council.
