The moment when there is a hike price of petrol, everyone would give their two cents worth of an opinion. This time around, the hike is from RM1.80-RM1.95. The moment the press asked the PM on this issue, he commented that he had initially wanted to increase the price hike to 20 cents but settled on subsidising 5 cents per litre, making it just a 15 cent hike.

His comments infuriated the public, and Malaysian, Ashley Greig-Momin voiced out her opinions which has since gone viral with over 1,600 shares.

Netizens could not agree more with Ashley’s thoughts.

One Facebook user commented, “Im proud of u to speak out a word from our heart1.. Thx…”

Another shared, “Ashley! Well said. In case you don’t know who I am, I’m the friend you met at the gym a few months back. So great to have stumbled upon your profile under such circumstances. Thank you for voicing out what matters.”

It’s clear to see that Ashley is echoing the thoughts of every Malaysian, regardless of background, and the ultimate hope for each Malaysian is that change would come about after this post, however small it may be.
