The DiscoverKL ambassador team had a great month of September, where they attended plenty of cool events which included food reviews and rooftop cinema parties. Here’s a recap of all the fun things they got up to in the past month!
1. La Juiceria Review
La Juiceria is best known for their meals and drinks that are good and good for you. We sent our ambassador Nina to sample some of their bestselling dishes and she was intrigued by the restaurant’s wide selection.

2. TR Fire Grill Review
TR Fire Grill is a classic American-style bistro which has recently opened its doors in Pavilion. Some of the tantalising dishes on the menu are jalapeño potato tots and steaks. The steaks at TR Fire Grill are 100% natural beef cuts with no antibiotics, hormones or GMOs. Sauces and condiments are also made in-house.

3. IndoBowl Food Review
Hands up, who loves instant noodles? We bet our ambassador, Zoey, would be the first to put both hands up. 😛 We sent Zoey down to try out some classic Indomee noodles at the newly opened Indobowl restaurant. Serving up classic Indomee dishes with proteins like grilled chicken, this one’s good for those who love Indomee but want to up the ante a little.
4. Helipad Cinema
Ever headed to The Roof, Bandar Utama and just sat there, enjoying the sunset whilst your hair’s blowing in the breeze? It’s definitely a once in a lifetime experience and you’d also be at a perfect vantage point to enjoy the beauty that’s the city of KL.

Our ambassadors, Sharon, Shannon and Zoey had the chance to head down to The Roof for a special rooftop cinema movie screening by Helipad Cinema. Helipad Cinema is best known for hosting rooftop movie screenings of classic flicks like Step Up, Finding Nemo and more.

Our ambassadors kicked back with some popcorn and drink in hand and rested on #Doof beanbags whilst the movie played in the background. Sounds like a perfect night to us!
5. Tony Roma’s Review
Who could pass up a feast at Tony Roma’s? Certainly not Sharon! We sent her to try out Tony Roma’s Grilled To Perfection menu where she enjoyed some classic grilled Beef Back Ribs and Sirloin, Original Beef Back Ribs & Steakhouse Combo, Grilled Veggie Crostinis and Grilled Shrimp Primavera.

6. Kenny Rogers Roasters Review
If September’s starting to sound like a food-filled month, it’s because it was! 😛 We ended the month with a classic review at Kenny Rogers Roasters! Ambassador, Sarah, got the chance to try the Unfried Fried Chicken which was served with 3 different sauces: Smoked BBQ, Honey BBQ and Spicy Gilerrr.
