Malaysia is known for their superb badminton players and just recently, our national badminton players won the title of World Superseries Finals at the Hamdan Sports Complex in Dubai. Not only had this duo made it to the season-ender of the competition but as well, they have made the headline for bagging the championship title.

This duo is none other than Goh V Shem and Tan Wee Kiong. During the competition, they put up an intense battle with Takeshi Kamura and Keigo Sonoda of Japan. During the 40 minutes, everyone’s heart was pounding hard and we’re anxious for them as they inched closer to the top spot! With the score of 21-14, 21-19, the Malaysian men’s double claimed the title.

The duo received US$84,000 (approximately RM376,000) and made Malaysia proud. They also won the Syed Mode International in India in January and the Denmark Open in October and this is their latest win.
