Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks stays true to their roots with the launch of their very own boba series!

The series include the Boba Milk Tea (RM7.30), Brown Sugar Fresh Milk Boba (RM7.80), and Honey Fresh Green Tea (RM6.80).

We got the boba along with Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks’ famous Oyster Mee Sua and XXL Crispy Chicken

The milk tea and the fresh milk boba wasn’t too sweet, and the boba is good balance of soft and chewy. VX usually prefers boba with a bit more firmness but for Sarah, this texture was just perfect. The pearls are also fairly larger in size compared to the average boba out there, but that does give you more to chew on!

The drinks matched well with their classic favourites, the Oyster Mee Sua and XXL Crispy Chicken. The fried battered chicken meat was on the tough and dry side but the mee sua was a solid 10/10 for us.

If you purchase any value set, top up RM3.80 to switch your drink to a boba series drink.

Available at all Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks outlets except KLIA2, KLCC, Puteri Harbour, SOGO KL, Sunway Putra Mall, and The Sphere.
