This Is KL's First Tamagoyaki Specialty Store—Cheese Mentai's On The Menu

Tamagoyaki is a Japanese rolled omelette and most would head to sushi restaurants in the past in order to enjoy the eggy dish.

Now, Malaysians can get their very own tamagoyaki dish in The Starling Mall, PJ.

There are 6 tamagoyaki flavours available:

  • Mentai Mayo (RM8.90)
  • Tuna Mayo (RM11.90)
  • Chuka Hotate (RM14.90)
  • Cabbage (RM8.90)
  • Potato Ham (RM11.90)
  • Chuka Idako (RM14.90)

The tamagoyaki will make for an ideal snack and if you enjoy the tamagoyaki on its own, you can opt for the classic flavour too for RM5.90.

Shin Tamagoyaki has introduced a new flavour on their menu and it’s a cheese mentai tamagoyaki stick where a tamagoyaki is topped with mozzarella cheese and mentaiko mayonnaise. The Cheese Mentai Tamagoyaki is only available till April 30 so if this flavour caught your eye, be sure to head to Shin Tamagoyaki to snap up these treats.

On top of tamagoyakis, Shin Tamagoyaki offers Tori Karaage Don (RM13.90), Tamago Mentai Don (RM13.90), Fried Tamago (RM9.90), Tori Karaage (RM9.90) and Japanese Rice with Furikake (RM3.90).

As for drinks, there’s Japanese Oolong Tea (RM4.90) and Brown Rice Green Tea (RM4.90).
