It’s a given that briyanis and banana leaf rice meals are a huge part of Malaysian culture.

Whether it’s a weekend indulgence or a lunch break treat, Malaysians can never get enough of it.

Noting this, local briyani house Fierce Curry House has introduced a new twist to the iconic meal with their Lobster Briyani and Lobster Tandoori dishes.

Just a short walk from the Bangsar LRT station, Fierce Curry House serves up Banana Leaf and Hyderabad Dum Biryani as well as a’la carte North Indian cuisine for dinner.

Their most popular offering would have to be the Lobster Briyani.

The Lobster Briyani is priced at RM260 but features a huge lobster which has been cooked into flavourful briyani rice. This dish is so popular that you might have to order it in advance.

On top of this, Fierce Curry House also serves up briyani rice with king prawns, scallops and venison.

Fancy banana leaf instead? You can pair it with indulgent proteins such as crabs and prawns.

Priced at RM13, Fierce Curry House offers a vegetarian Banana Leaf Thali experience.

It includes a choice of white rice, par-boiled rice or chapati along with 5 vegetables of the day (including fried bittergourd), chapati, dhal, Vathal Kulambu (vegetable curry), Rasam (spiced soup), Pappadom, Salted Fried Chilli and Kesari.
