Ever spent a day at the KL city centre to find yourself stuck in a horrific jam at around 10pm when all the malls are closed? Because news flash, you’re not the only one who wants to head home after a fun day of shopping or café hopping in KL. ?

Instead of being stuck in traffic, there’s a place you can go to lepak and it’s open till 2am on weekdays (and 3am on weekends).

Gobox Concept is a container food centre with an open air concept. It’s located a stone’s throw away from KLCC and it’s a mere 300m walk from KLCC to Gobox Concept.

Gobox Concept, which is a play on the words “go” and “box”, is essentially a box-shaped food court housing 10+ food stalls.

Enjoy atas hawker fare ranging from Western, Mexican, Japanese, Italian and local cuisine. Some of the types of food that’ll whet your appetite while here are:

  • Teppanyaki
  • Asam Pedas
  • Pizza
  • Churros
  • Buffalo Wings
  • Thai Food
  • Patin Tempoyak
  • Lempeng
  • Otak Otak

Even till the wee hours of the morning, Gobox Concept still sees a full house. If there should be a small drizzle or a downpour in the middle of the night, white umbrellas will be opened over the tables so you don’t have to run for shelter. While enjoying your meal, you can also enjoy the busking from various performers.

Where there are only a select amount of restaurants and cafés that are open past midnight in KL, it’s nice to see that there’s now another option in town.
