Petaling Jaya and Shah Alam residents have been facing a water cut since February 21, due to a pipe burst behind the Carlsberg factory located in Persiaran Selangor, Seksyen 15 Shah Alam.
Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (SYABAS) released a statement saying some areas in PJ and Shah Alam would face a temporary water disruption due to the situation. Although there is no mention of time to when the water disruption will end, the team are currently working to fix the pipes. Some areas have been facing dry pipes for the past 3 days.
The affected areas in Klang/Shah Alam are:
Seksyen 21, Seksyen 22, Seksyen 25, Seksyen 26, Seksyen 27, Seksyen 28, Kampung Kebun Bunga, Kampung Baru Hicom, Subang Mas Batu 3, Batu 3 Shah Alam, Bukit Kemuning, Bukit Naga, Kampung Lombong, Jalan Kebun, UEP & USJ Subang, Seksyen 32, Seksyen 33, Putra Heights, Kampung Bukit Lanchong, Kampung Jawa, Bandar Putera, Taman Sentosa, Taman Maznah, Taman Samarind, Taman Batu 3, Taman Desa Latania, Taman Desa Kemuning and Jalan Mohd Sidin.
The affected areas in Petaling are:
USJ 1-USJ 27, TP1-TP7 (Taman Perindustrian UEP), Subang Heights, USJ Heights and USJ 3A-USJ 3D.
