In an area filled with industrial buildings and factories, you would find Whup Whup, a restaurant that also doubles as an event space. It is started by 3 fast friends and the cuisine that you would find here is Western meets Asian. For an RM150/pax meal, you will be able to enjoy the likes of Steak Tartare on Confit Aubergine, Seared Ahi Tuna Marinated in Shoyu on Seaweed Pesto and Belgian Dark Chocolate Mignon topped with Sauvignon Blanc Gel Tear Drops.

BLACKmarket describes their outlet as a place where diners can experience exquisite tastes, and you certainly can with their V-Day dinner set. Meals are priced at RM138 per pax and you can whet your appetite with dishes like Truffle Mushroom Soup, Truffle Potato Salad with Egg and for dessert; a Hazelnut Torte. Opt to top up RM98 for a bottle of liquor to end the night on a high note too.

Coq Au Vin Blanc is a French-style cooking of a chicken dish and that is just one of the dishes that you can have for a Valentine’s dinner at Roost KL. It’s clear that classy is what they are going for, and if you’re not one to usually enjoy fancy dinners, you’d be happy to sit down to this RM138/pax dinner. From the outside looking in, Underground Société might appear like any other ol’ restaurant but step inside and you would find that their dishes are anything but. In fact, they are the same eatery that brought about Malaysia’s very first “flying noodles”. For Valentine’s, diners can enjoy meals like a Crispy Chicken paired with Pineapple Bao, 200g of Australian Beef Tenderloin and a mysteriously-named Underground Cake, for only RM88 per pax.

Hidden well along Jalan Pudu, you can find this eatery near the Hotel Transit. Just be sure to look for shop lot No.42. If you’re familiar with Tedboy Bakery, Bangsar, this is his sister, Em. She was created with Mathilda in mind and that means simple, wholesome food. Fun fact: they also have a collection of travel books in their outlet. As for meals, there’s the Pan-Fried Duck Breast with Raspberry Sauce, Fresh Salmon Tartare with Blood Orange Dressing and more; all for RM84 per pax.

Le Pont Boulangerie was actually inspired by its French namesake which means ‘The Bridge’. Le Pont takes great pleasure in bridging gaps between people through food. For a 2-course dinner meal of RM100+ per pax, you can enjoy the likes of Baked Chicken Roulade, an Assorted Tapas Trio and a drink called Twilight Tango.
