他们的主厨,Chef Darren’s 可是拥有多达14年的烹饪经验,曾经在法国呆过2年接受过专业的烹饪训练。

这家餐馆位于TTDI,拥有三层楼,每一层都是精心设计的别致风格。底楼叫作  Le Comptoir ,带有‘吧台’的意思。底楼的装潢是呈现一种悠闲风格,所以顾客们也可以有机会亲眼看到主厨为他们准备美食的过程。

第一层楼则叫作 La Salle,带有‘餐厅’的意思。 是DC 主要的用餐区,室内环境呈现一种较正式的感觉。所以,顾客可以享受一种在比较正式又高雅的环境下用餐的感觉。

第三层楼叫L’atelier, 是‘工作坊’的意思。 这层楼是厨师们的个人空间,专门让他们能够为食谱研究出更多的美食。也是  Chef Darren 经常与其他厨师分享心得和烹饪技巧的地点。更有趣的是,最高楼其实设有一个小绿屋,是专门提供蔬菜和香料于餐厅用途的哦。

Chef Darren Chin 是这家餐厅的创办人,而他的父亲其实是Dave’s Deli Group 的创办人。这家DC 餐厅也曾经获得多达19个奖项,包括Le Corden Bleu’s MIGF Festival Award 2016。

 DC Restaurant 最大的特色就是厨师们会使用新鲜又符合时下的这两大元素来设计他们的食谱菜单。他们遵循“慢食运动”的原则,这也意味着人们应该「仔仔细细的品尝料理」,主张我们吃的食材,应该以缓和的步调去植种、去烹煮,和品尝。从吃去感受生活品质的昇华,而最终想传达的价值观,并不只限于在餐桌上,而是对大自然尊重的生活方式。

从DC Restaurant’s 的面子书就可以发现到这句话,“We honour the hard work of our farmers by making full use of every part of the harvest, from the skins that hold the pods to leaves that sprout from the trees.” 这意味着,DC的厨师将把这些农夫辛苦种植出来的材料淋漓精致的发挥该材料每个部位的特色,形成一道完美的美食。
