The trend of #MannequinChallenge has been viral for quite some time now and people are still doing it for fun.

One video though is not made for that reason. The video is entitled “The sickest Mannequin Challenge” and it is sick because it actually follows a pretty dark storyline.

The video above is about the sex trafficking of children in Malaysia. From the video itself, characters are portrayed at a brothel. Customers can be seen picking their ‘candidates’ and the girls are also shown with fear written all over their face. Revolting as it is, there’s even a young boy being dragged into the situation. At the end of the video, a girl is seen sitting at an empty stairwell, looking forlorn.

This video is produced by Naga DDBTribal and Reservoir Lab for an NGO called Protect & Save The Children. This NGO helps to raise awareness about child trafficking and the dark truth behind the doors. The aim of this video is for Malaysians to sign this petition to make a pledge in support of the law which covers Child Sexual Crimes.

There are many ways to do a #MannequinChallenge but kudos to this team for raising awareness about the matter creatively.
