University and college students may often face the conundrum of wondering where to get their notes printed out during their lunch break.

At times, the only free slot that a student may have to do so is during their lunch break. Therefore, it’s pretty apt that a new café popped up in Taman Connaught recently and it basically helps students kill two birds with one stone.

Craft Café is a café meet printing shop and it is located beside Taman Connaught’s Maybank outlet. This eatery opened their doors on the last day of October 2016.

What’s unique about them is the fact that you can get printing done while you dine.

They specialise in local and Western cuisine alike. Craft has a myriad of dishes here including creamy salted egg yolk pasta and big breakfasts.

A unique dish to try at Craft Café is their Beauty and the Beast dish. It is in fact a waffle pizza. Wherein typical pizzas would be made out of dough, Craft’s version features a thick layer of crispy pizza which has been browned nicely. It is further topped off with cheese and chicken pepperoni. The finishing touch is the cheesy mayo sauce.

As for desserts, Craft Café unleashes their creativity with “rose” fruit waffles. These waffles may appear plain on their own but with the addition of these “rose” fruits, it becomes a hearty meal which is both colourful and nutritious at the same time. Not to mention, there is also a good serving of vanilla ice cream served with this dish for a tiny done of sinful goodness.

One of Craft’s signature drinks is their classic combination of coffee and milk. It is done in the form of frozen cubes of espresso which is added with some chilled milk. When the frozen ice cubes melt away gradually, they give the drink a slightly bitter taste but the milk complements it well. This gives it the perfect balance of bitter and sweet and it is luxury with every sip.
