Kedah-born singer-songwriter, Yuna who collaborated with Usher in one of her songs, Crush, is Malaysia’s sweetheart. Even with her touring around America to promote her music, she manages to put our country on the map once more. This time, she is featured on a huge New York Times Square billboard.
As of now, Yuna’s face is featured on a NASDAQ billboard, which is essentially a billboard that features new artistes every month. This month, it’s Yuna’s turn. She had excitedly tweeted out her joy when she was featured.
She shared: “Your Kedah-born girl just went up on the @NASDAQ billboard in Times Square New York today.”

Now, everyone who passes by the Times Square in New York would see this billboard of Yuna and those who do not know her might just be curious and google up who this musician is. Certainly, Yuna has put Malaysia on the map and is continually making our country proud, regardless of where her music takes her.
