The default question that Malaysians have on their mind whenever they are heading out with friends and family is, “Where should we eat?” and the answer would often times be a place which they are already familiar with. However, isn’t variety the most interesting aspect of life? In line with that thought, here is a new eatery located in the busy neighbourhood of Aman Suria!

Elephant Rock Café is a restaurant and bar which serves up authentic Western cuisine. The café is run by a father, his son, and 2 friends. Considering how one of the founding partners originated from Batu Gajah (which translates to Elephant Rock in English), that is how the name of the café came to be.

Some of the meals in this eatery include the juicy steak sandwich accompanied with their in-house specialty – freshly cut potato fries.

Then there’s the country roasted chicken (RM30) which is one of their bestsellers. The juicy chicken breast with winglet is stuffed with jalapeño and cream cheese served on a bed of ultimate roasted potatoes and dressed with creamy mushroom sauce.

The Linguine Carbonara (RM20) is one which saw customers returning to, for lunch and dinner ON THE SAME DAY. The dish is essentially fresh button mushrooms sautéed with garlic, onions and fresh basil married with a creamy egg based sauce, topped with a generous topping of parmesan.

And of course, who can forget the drinks?! According to Elephant Rock, they shared, “You come for the drinks but stay for the food!”
