Who’s a big fan of takoyaki? I know I am! So, you can imagine my excitement when I found out that Gindaco has landed in KL. Oh, be still my thumping heart and hungry tummy.

Originally from Japan, Gindaco has over 160 chains located in and around Tokyo itself. Where ever you walk in Japan, you’ll definitely notice a Gindaco stall at every corner. I had my first ever Gindaco while strolling the streets of Harajuku. The moment I took my first bite, I knew it was true love. No one could stop me from going back for more. #drama

Ahem, love affair aside. There are four flavoursome takoyakis for you to choose from.

Original

If you feel like being on the safe side or are just curious about how awesome Gindaco is, give the original flavour a try first. Served with Gindaco’s signature takoyaki sauce, the original flavour is topped with dried seaweed and tasty bonito flakes.

Negidako

The negidako comes with a bit of a twist. It has tempura dipping sauce poured over it along with white radish, green onions, dried seaweed and bonito flakes sprinkled on it. Yum yum in my tum tum.

Cheese Mentaiko

Now, this one is my personal favourite! The Cheese Mentaiko is perfectly topped with mozzarella cheese, dried parsley and Parmesan cheese. To top it off, delicious spicy cod roe mixed with Japanese mayo and soy sauce is added on to the whole concoction. Please, sir, can I have another?

Teritama

Want something a little out of the ordinary? Then, the teritama takoyaki could just be what you need. It is topped with egg salad, dried green seaweed and bonito flakes with drizzles of premium teriyaki sauce and Japanese mayo. Too good to resist!

Takoyaki isn’t the only dish on the menu. Gindaco also serves mouth-watering yakisoba lightly fried with cabbage, chicken slices, dried green seaweed and bonito flakes.

Hurry, satisfy your takoyaki cravings by making your way to the nearest Gindaco outlet today!
