There’s something about enjoying a meal outdoors that makes one noticeably happier. Credit the warm sunlight against one’s skin or the sound of nature, but it’s actually proven by science to boost morales. It after all helps you reduce stress and improves concentration in the long run.

And there’s an outdoor restaurant in KL that can help you do just that.

BBQ Lamb KL Kemensah, like its name suggests, is a BBQ restaurant amidst nature. They’re taking it one step further by providing a dining experience by the river too.

With chairs and tables positioned in the low current river area, guests can feel the river rushing beneath their feet whilst tucking into a sumptuous BBQ spread.

For those who prefer a roof over their head while they dine, they’d be pleased to know that there are shaded dining areas where one can still enjoy the great outdoors but without having to worry about the harsh noon sun or light drizzles.

There’s even a manmade pool where you can take a quick dip after your meal, so be prepared to bring some swimwear and goggles too.

What we like about BBQ Lamb KL Kemensah is how it’s just a stone’s throw away from the National Zoo of Malaysia and it feels like a picnic with friends and family but a more exclusive, atas version.
