De’ Lava Baked Cheese Tart may be known for their cheese tarts but they’ve now created their very own gelato ice cream sandwich using polo buns!

Yup, the warm buttery polo buns get an upgrade with the addition of a generous scoop of gelato. Expect a warm crust and rich gelato melting as you take a big bite.

Where typical ice cream sandwiches would include ice cream (duh!), De’ Lava opts for gelato instead. It’s healthier than ice cream and it’s the perfect excuse to get some in flavours like Sweet Potato, Pumpkin, Peanut Butter, Blackfee (Black Coffee), Chocolate, and Cheese. De’ Lava doesn’t source their gelatos from stores as they create it in-house too.

It’s certainly a delicious snack to have on-the-go. Each Polo Gelato Bun costs RM6 with the exception of the cheese-flavoured gelato bun which costs RM7.50.
