The next time you’re heading to a pasar malam, you might want to pay close attention to the ringgit notes you are receiving in return. A Malaysian lady recently shared a Facebook post and video which has since been shared more than 8,000 times.
She revealed how fake RM50 notes are dealt out at pasar malams when one is given change in return for their purchases. This is not the first time that counterfeit cash has been received but Facebook user Chloe Ng has struck a chord amongst netizens with how the RM50 note can be disguised so well.
In the video, she proceeded to take the RM50 note apart by separating the layers and she revealed how the RM50 note was merely stuck together. One can be easily duped by the ringgit note because it looks pretty realistic. Discover KL readers, do be careful when receiving RM50 notes especially at pasar malams.
