Dessert combinations has always been a way that bakers can showcase not only their skills but their creativity as well. Several imaginative creations have been born out of this, including cronuts (croissant-doughnuts) and duffins (doughnut-muffins). These unique dishes has taken the internet by storm and another one which is set to jump on that same wave is the croissant waffle.

Croissant waffles, also known as croffles, are the next hybrid dessert to hit Malaysia and they marry these 2 well-loved desserts together. Maison de Gigi in Sunway Pyramid is a newly opened store and they offer this dish at their outlet.

This eatery originated from Osaka, Japan and at they have recently opened at Sunway Velocity mall, making this their 2nd Malaysian outlet. Likewise, they will be serving these croffles at the Sunway Pyramid outlet, alongside another unique beverage known as Nitro Coffee or Tea. The Nitro Coffee and Tea makes the beverage appear frothy, with a thick layer of foam.
