Not too long ago, there was the hype of noodles that magically hangs on the tip of a pair of floating chopsticks. Singapore was the first to have the “flying noodles” which gained so much popularity that it was even covered by Insider Food! Malaysia now can proudly say “we also got” with the flying noodles which was recently introduced by Subang café, Underground Société.

In the spirit of Halloween, Underground Société has finally included the “flying noodles” on their menu, and they are the one and only eatery serving this dish in Klang Valley!

Currently, they are only serving 3 different versions of this dish: the Flying Zaru Soba, Flying Chic Kut Teh and Flying Udon with Signature Underground Sauce. Each dish ranges between RM19-RM20 and they sure make for an interesting dining experience.

The one question that everyone has in mind is “what exactly is holding the noodles up?!” The café posted that exact question up on Facebook, urging their fans to come up with an answer and the closest one would win a bowl to try for themselves. Some of the replies include how sticks and rods are supposedly holding the noodles up. That’s exactly what we at Discover KL think as well. So, what’s your guess, and would you give this “magical” noodles a try?
