What’s your other half like?

Do they wake up early on Fridays through to weekends, say 9am, and even earlier on the 4 remaining weekdays of the week?

Is their meal of choice a Western brunch?

Are they chilled out, into minimalism and generally looks good on the camera?

Well, it doesn’t matter if your other half is none of the above because you’d find all of these qualities in The Other Half.

This TTDI café encourages you to expect the unexpected with their cuisine. “We are a Malaysian cafe inspired by the Melbourne brunch and coffee culture,” The Other Half mentioned on their Facebook page.

From a crossword puzzle wall clearly highlighting the words, “The Other Half”, to a spacious setting with sunlight streaming in through the windows, this eatery has got its own level of style down pat.

As for meals, be prepared to come here hungry as portion sizes mimic Australian brunch cuisine through and through: they’re big and they’re hearty.

And that’s where your other half comes into play because the meals are just the right size for sharing.

So go ahead and do just that over a meal of grilled chicken sandwich or tamago dish with cured sea bass sashimi.
