Lots of makan sessions and visiting relatives and friends to score some ang pows.

We’ve probably described your Chinese New Year break to a tee if you’ve opted to stay in Klang Valley during the festive season.

Instead of the usual suspects this Lunar New Year, a theme park in KL will also be offering exclusive ang pows and prizes!

Berjaya Times Square Theme Park will be hosting a Bountiful Chinese New Year celebration and among other attractive gifts, they’ll also be giving out some auspicious ang pows.

Happening from February 10-March 4, the Bountiful Chinese New Year celebration will be held at the Level 5 Galaxy Stage of Berjaya Times Square Theme Park and there’ll be 3 activities to look out for!

1. God of Prosperity Walkabout

Usher in the New Year and greet the ever cheerful God of Prosperity during his walkabout with the adorable theme park mascots: Professor Cosmo, Ooort and Ooops. Opt to snap a couple of selfies with them while you’re there too!

When: February 16, 17, 18, 24, 25, from 2pm-3pm

3. Fortune Fountain

Score some added fortune this Lunar New Year by taking part in Berjaya Times Square Theme Park’s Fortune Fountain activity.

At the Fortune Fountain, participants will be given 15 seconds to pick up the treasures in the fountain and move them to a small basket—the catch is that you must use chopsticks to retrieve and transfer the items.

There will be 2 categories of items in the fountain (vending balls which are theme park souvenirs and cash ang pows). Best part is, each participant is entitled to bring home all of the prizes that they have picked out from the fountain.

When: February 10-March 4: 12pm-2pm, 4pm-6pm
