I was at a friend’s wedding recently and one of the favours was a stunning baby pink soap, shaped like a gem.

“Far too pretty to use”, I thought to myself.

In fact, the only emoji to rightfully share it to social media with, is the classic heart eyes emoji.

That led me to look up Buih & Co on Instagram and it wasn’t long before I realised that they are pretty much a Malaysian Lush. And the best part is that they use natural ingredients and SLS free + chemical-free materials. In addition to that, all of their products are freshly handmade.

There’re sugar bath scrubs in yummy scents like Mojito, Lemon-Aid, Coconutty and Peach Please, all housed in transparent jars that screams minimalism. The packaging is made from the same sustainable material which are used to make coconut water packaging, but with a higher percentage of paper than alternative packaging options.

Bars of soaps lovingly shaped into popsicles and gem stones are also on the list. As they can be customised, Buih & Co has been receiving requests to create them as wedding favours. We’d imagine them to be great birthday gifts or special tokens of appreciation for bridesmaids too.

Body lotions in scents like Serai, Mojito and Lavender make for a great pampering session.

And of course. Who could forget the bath bombs that we feel are on par with Lush’s products, in terms of its looks. Above all, we love how Buih & Co has included Malaysians scents for their range of products.

Currently, Buih & Co features their products at certain flea markets around town and the best way to learn of their whereabouts is to follow them on Instagram.

Alternatively, Buih & Co products can also be purchased via their website or on Instagram.
