Another salted egg snack has emerged in the Malaysian market, and we are all the more grateful for it. One can never get enough of salted egg snacks, as can be seen by the rising rave around us about salted egg anything. Frankly, it’s a trend which might not die down any time soon.

This time, it is O.yu.fish, and they sell salted egg fish skin. Think crispy fish skin bite pieces, and then rolled into one with egg yolk batter.

If you like it spicy, even better, because they mix fresh curry leaves when making the batter for their homemade salted fish chips. That way, you get all three flavours attacking your tongue all the time.

They even recommend that you eat your salted fish chips with beer, claiming that it’ll only intensify the taste and give you a more heavenly sensation with the snack.

O.yu.fish is actually already a pretty big name in Johor, getting a pretty large customer base among Johor-ians. However, they have recently redesigned their packaging and marketing into a sleeker and more minimalist style, and they are pushing a brand new packaging.

Thus, instead of only selling it online, they are setting up stalls at various food events and festivals. You can find O.yu.fish stalls at these places and dates:
