One day after Halloween, everyone had already shirked their inner Wednesday Addams for the Olafs in them. Darkness found light, and creepy skull decorations and occasionally cutesy pumpkin carvings made way for cheery reindeer and ice shavings and fake Santa Clauses.

Malls are following this change, and slowly but surely, they are switching decorations to welcome the upcoming celebration of the birth of Christ. Out of all the malls in Malaysia, 1 Utama is probably winning that race. While it is not completely done yet, watching the whole transformation to a pseudo White Christmas is pretty gratifying and awesome.

They are not even done yet, and we can already see giant gift boxes, lit up fake snow, a hanging crescent moon, booths, and Christmas trees arranged strategically to allow for passages and aisles. Who knows what we will actually see when the decorations are finally done?

Whenever you go to 1 Utama, the main area will be a large reminder that Santa Claus is coming to town (probably).

Definitely cannot wait to see the final result of the great efforts that have been put into putting up these decorations!
