First, there was the cashless bar concept where KL-ites could purchase drinks without the need to pay cash. Now, there’s a new bar in town with an equally as interesting concept. Tap It Out is a self-service beer bar and essentially, it’s like a beer ATM.

At Tap It Out, customers would purchase a prepaid card and upload cash onto it. To put it to use, you’d head over to any of the 22 beer dispensers, tap the beer card and select your beverage of choice.

Currently, Tap It Out offers 9 types of draught beer and this includes:

  • Carlsberg
  • Asahi
  • Connors
  • Kronenbourg 1664
  • Löwenbräu
  • Hoegaarden
  • Stella Artois
  • Leffe
  • Erdinger
  • Weissbier

Customers will be charged based on the chosen beverage and its amount. Once you’re done, retrieve your card and your drink and enjoy. Tap It Out also has a beer pong session where you can head to and play a round or two with friends or newly met acquaintances. Sounds like a cool night out to me! 😉
