They were waving their feathered arms as they ran and walked between Tesco and The Curve mall in Damansara. It happened to be the beak period where shoppers were out and about during the weekend but these chickens didn’t give a cluck.

When the team at DiscoverKL heard that chickens were going to cross the road in a big way, we got egg-cited and knew that we were definitely not going to chicken out of it. In fact, a friend told us, “Ayam definitely goreng to chick it out this weekend.”

The crowd was really confused but equally amused at the men in chicken suits and truth be told, it was really unex-peck-ted as they came out of nowhere. But they definitely weren’t clawing around and these grown men were  d-egg-dicated to their roles.

At the end of this whole chicken run, they even did a little chicken dance. After the whole event was over, a short clip of the chickens walking across the street was uploaded on YouTube.

If you’re equally as confused as we are, stay tuned to DiscoverKL as we’re keeping abreast with the development of the story. Rest assured, the whole story has barely scratched the surface.
