前日， 脸书“我们是大马印裔”（We Are Malaysian Indians）专页 上载了一段视频，该网友申诉OldTown餐厅提供的辣椒酱内有虫，引起了广泛网友的关注。
视频中可清楚见到辣椒酱内有多只幼虫在蠕动，画面极其恶心。而摄影者也不断质问餐厅的负责人。
该餐厅的总公司发言人针对此事表示，目前正着手调查这项指控。因此，不便做出任何回应。一旦完成调查，便会向民众公布结果。
有关视频被上载至脸书后，很多网友表示早就不再光顾该餐厅分行。甚至有许多网友表示该餐厅的食物素质降低皆因外劳员工和外劳掌厨的关系。
