If you happen to be travelling to East Malaysia soon, specifically Kuching, be sure to head over to CH Premier Restaurant along Jalan Tun Jugah. So what makes this restaurant so unique? The exterior of the eatery might appear normal but once inside, you will be surprised to see robots serving you!

Besides that, this is the first Chinese restaurant to have robotic staff serving you in Malaysia, and it even made it into the Malaysian Book of Records.

According to pockettimes.my, this restaurant has 4 operating robots and each is named Goddess 1 to 3. These robots are about 156cm in height and that is the average height of a teenager. They even have a mini robot named Loli and he is about 110cm in height.

These robots even speak in Mandarin and they know how to say ‘thank you’ in Mandarin. So how does this robot know which table to serve? There are magnetic lines installed on the floor to avoid any disruption in the robot’s movement. It allows them to maintain a safe distance of 15cm from any obstacle.

When it comes to food, this restaurant serves fine dining meals and Chinese-style family platters as well as a lovely herbal broth as part of their steamboat.

Would you try this restaurant out?
