Beginning December 16 2016, all rides on the MRT and the feeder bus service will be FREE of charge for one month! The public will be able to use this free service for a month, from December 16-January 16.

According to our Prime Minister, the free ride is considered a New Year gift for everyone and not only that, the public can take the chance to explore and try out the new, modern and efficient public transport.

Currently, the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang line is open, which means that it stops at attractions like the One Utama shopping mall! Besides that, other stations along the way include TTDI, Bukit Damansara, Sematan, Phileo Damansara, Kota Damansara and much more.

Overall, it will take half an hour or an hour depending on the furthest station you are going. This is only phase one of the MRT and it covers 12 stations in total. In the next 6 months, phase 2 of the MRT line will be unveiled, so there’s more exciting news ahead for our local public transportation system.
