11.11 might be single’s day to most parts of the world, but it also marks the day where e-shopping is at its peak as it is after all the beginning of the global online shopping craze. This 11.11 phenomenon grew in popularity when China e-shopping giant Alibaba first started the craze with only 27 brands, back in 2009. They grew from strength to strength since then and the 11.11 trend is now so huge that Alibaba even trademarked the 11.11 term in 2012.
Noting how e-shopping is a growing market, big brands worldwide have joined in the trend, offering their biggest price cuts during this period of time. One to join in the trend is Lazada. The Singaporean e-shopping portal is set to bring about the biggest online shopping event in Southeast Asia, because it will be organising a sales event you won’t want to miss out on! Through Lazada’s 11.11 Online Revolution, expect more than 500,000 deals from over 1,000 brands and 55,000 international and local merchants. The event will be ongoing from November 11-December 14. Some of the participating brands include Drypers, L’oreal, Nestlé, Samsung, Universal Music, Tefal, and Samsonite.
Get discounts for items in various categories including for mobile gadgets, home appliances, cameras, fashion, sports and more. Now in its 5th year running, Lazada will also feature promos from the likes of AirAsia, DiGi, and HSBC. Customers can opt to shop via the Lazada website or through the LAZADA mobile app.
The sale is ongoing all throughout Malaysia. Hence, even if you live in an area which does not frequently hold mall sales, you can get your goods at a discounted price and you won’t even have to leave the comfort of your bedroom!
